Position Overview: In this role you will support airplane subsystem manufacturing production readiness and delivery center flyaway operations. You will be a key technical leader partnering across engineering operations quality and supply chain to improve producibility strengthen manufacturing processes and ensure successful delivery of advanced aerospace products.

What Youll Do

• Lead the development refinement and optimization of manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems and related production activities.

• Drive production readiness efforts by identifying risks removing barriers and improving process stability and execution.

• Serve as a trusted technical partner across engineering quality operations and supply chain teams to resolve complex manufacturing issues.

• Support delivery center and flyaway operations by improving flow increasing efficiency and strengthening product quality and delivery performance.

• Apply data analysis engineering principles and hands-on problem solving to identify and implement meaningful improvements.

• Participate in design production and readiness reviews providing expert input on manufacturability assembly tooling producibility and risk mitigation.

• Lead or contribute to root cause analysis corrective action and systemic problem-solving efforts.

• Help ensure a safe efficient and high-performing production environment.

• Influence improvements that support cost schedule quality and delivery objectives.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• 9 years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• B.S. or higher in Aerospace Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

• Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers

• Experience with aerospace production

• Experience with 2D blueprints and 3D model based instruction

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)

• Strong communication skills

• Experience in project management and planning within a manufacturing environment
