Job Description Summary
The Senior Manufacturing Business Leader is accountable for end-to-end performance of a defined business unit within the plant leading all aspects of Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC). In this role you will be responsible for deploying and sustaining lean operating principles and the FLIGHT DECK mindset within the value stream developing people standardizing processes and driving continuous improvement to meet customer business and regulatory requirements.

As Business Leader you will lead components manufacturing for rotating parts supporting key engine programs including T700 F404 F414 and CF34. The position provides direct leadership to 8-12 salaried team members and has overall accountability for a total organization of up to 80 employees operating across three shifts in a unionized manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for aligning resources building frontline leadership capability and ensuring effective shift-to-shift execution to meet production requirements while maintaining strong labor relations workforce engagement and compliance with site contractual and regulatory expectations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage an operation business unit or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality cost delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees. This does not include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.
  • Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational product management manufacturing technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements risk and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Manufacturing & Operation Management)
  • Minimum of 5 years Manufacturing & Operation Management experience

  • Deep operational knowledge of manufacturing processes with the ability to lead process discipline capacity planning flow optimization workforce alignment and execution in a high-mix high-accountability production setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems make data-driven decisions and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and executing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong planning execution and project management skills with a focus on delivering results for customers and the business

The base pay range for this position is 136000.00 - 181000.00 USD specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on June 5 2026.
