Lead our quality team and elevate global standards for plastic molding excellence ensuring our products meet the highest specifications and safety standards at our innovative Virginia site!
Lead Site Quality Function:Oversee all quality-related activities for plastic and injection-molded components.
Develop Quality Strategy:Align local operations with global quality initiatives and standards.
ManageTeam &EfficientQualityLabProcesses: Supervise engineers and technicians while ensuring efficient lab processes including metrology reliability testing and visual inspection functions
Ensure Product Compliance:Validateproduct designs against safety and quality standards.
Supplier Quality Management:Conduct audits and manage supplier performance to improve upstream quality.
Implement Problem Solving Techniques:Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality incidents.
Documentation & Reporting:Maintainaccuraterecords and report KPIs to site leadership and global stakeholders.
The Quality Department at our Virginia site is a pivotal part of our operations dedicated to ensuring that our plastic and injection-molded components meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This team collaborates closely with global quality networks to implement best practices driving innovation and consistency across all products. By integratingcutting-edgetechnology and rigorous testing protocols the department plays a crucial role inmaintainingour reputation for excellence.
The Senior Manager Quality Molding is integral to this mission serving as a bridge between local operations and the broader global QEHS framework.This role not onlyleadsthe sites quality initiatives but also contributes to the companys global objectives by ensuring compliance with international standards.Through strategic leadership andcollaboration with cross-functional teams the manager supports the organizations commitment to delivering safe reliable and high-quality products worldwide.
Do You Have What It Takes
Experience in plastics or injection molding preferably with a quality background.
Experience leading teams andoperating/managing CMM CT scan and other advanced lab equipment.
Proficiencyin data analysis quality software and reporting tools.
Advanced education preferably inMechanical Engineering Quality Engineering Materials Science ora relatedtechnical field.
Strong knowledge of APQP PPAP PFMEA MSA and structured problem-solving (8D Root Cause Analysis).
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with U.S. and international safety and compliance standards related to consumer products or toys (ASTM F963 ISO 8124 EN71).
Experience working in a global or matrixed quality organization preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Relocation will be available
Some international travel will be required
Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $142681.00 - $214021.00 based on anticipated responsibilities market benchmarks and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including but not limited to prior experience skills expertise location internal equity and other considerations permitted by law.
