BGS is seeking a Senior Manager in Oklahoma City OK. responsible to execute the Product Support statement of work on the B-52 Bomber Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP). In this role you will have a strong partnership and teaming with BDS counterparts. This will be a multi-phased program with proposal activity in later phases. Collaboration with BGS functional leads in leading the integrated execution integrated logistics and product support. Our team is looking for a leader skilled with program management discipline easily able to navigate a fast-paced program strong collaboration skills and brings a great attitude that can successfully lead a complex portfolio while partnering with our BDS counterparts in leading Boeing successfully on this program.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees and first-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management
• Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives
• Strong EVM background and demonstrated experience using EVM to manage technical cost and schedule performance oversight for BGS work
• Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
• Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
• Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher
• 5 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• 5 years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers suppliers peers and/or partners
• 5 years experience using project management methodologies including developing project plans performance management and managing issues and risks
• Knowledge of Product Support Elements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active U.S. Security Clearance
• Experience supporting military programs
• Experience in the implementation and use of Program Management Best Practices
• Background in Product Support functions
• Previous experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Must have demonstrated work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitments
• Ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated events
• Highly motivated and must work well in a team environment
