The Opportunity

This position is onsite and works out of our Abbott Park IL location.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Manages teams with focus on policy and strategy implementation in protecting the organizations business interests with short-
term operational/tactical responsibilities.
Leads directs evaluates and develops a team of government relations professionals to ensure that all the organizations dealings
with government agencies are conducted ethically legally and according to the organizations policies and standards.

What Youll Work On
Responsible for implementing the companys policy on public and government affairs within designated area/department
including relations with authorities press institutions and community.
Oversees the planning of various events promote and participate in community programs and performs other functions to
improve the companys image.
Inputs into development of the approach to the organizations position on legislation and regulatory affairs to government level
officials and regulatory agencies.
Oversees the monitoring of current political trends and supports development of relationships with government representatives.

Basic Qualifications and Education

• Bachelors degree

• Minimum 3-5 years in a PAC position of responsibility

• Corporate PAC Experience

• Experience working on a campaign or for an elected official

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong verbal and communication skills

• Strong knowledge of the political process and campaign finance laws

• Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously

• Proven success in managing PAC programs and grassroots initiatives

• Experience with PAC management software

• Skilled in Excel PowerPoint Word
