The Senior Manager Global Transport is a strategic leadership role within Global Transport (GT) responsible for driving transformation across four key pillars: platform ownership and strategy AI implementation continuous improvement and incident response leadership. This role is central to enabling scalable resilient and tech-enabled transport operations aligned with the GT Ops NexGen strategy. Through close collaboration with global teams including the Global Command Center Transport Solutions & Qualification and Regional Operations Leads the Senior Manager ensures that strategic ambitions are translated into tangible outcomes that deliver measurable impact.
Platform Ownership & Strategy.
The Senior Manager will own the end-to-end transport platform strategy shaping a multi-year roadmap aligned with Global Logistics (GL) and GSC strategic aspirations. This includes gathering and prioritizing inputs from key stakeholders across GT regions digital and business teams translating needs into a clear platform vision and phased delivery plan. The role will also own strategic relationships with key platform suppliers ensuring performance scalability and innovation are delivered in line with GT needs and value expectations.
AI Implementation for Transport Operations.
As part of the GT Ops NexGen initiatives the Senior Manager will lead the implementation of AI-driven solutions that enhance platform capabilities visibility connectivity and operational efficiency. This includes overseeing specific workstreams related to strategic AI partners and integration with In-Transit Visibility and core transport platforms. From decision-making to deployment the role will collaborate with digital data and logistics teams to embed AI into core transport processes and platforms. The Senior Manager will monitor adoption performance and ROI to ensure solutions are scalable and aligned with business priorities.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation Leadership. A colleagues key responsibility will be to establish and mature CI governance and tracking mechanisms ensuring initiatives are well-prioritized monitored and aligned with strategic goals. Acting as a strategic connector the role will align efforts across Regional Operations Leads the Global Command Center Transport Solutions & Qualification and PCT teams.
Incident Response Leadership.
The Senior Manager will play a critical role in strengthening the organizations ability to respond to transport-related incidents and disruptions. Working in close partnership with the Global Command Center this role will help design and implement standardized response protocols that ensure timely stakeholder engagement and coordinated action during high-impact events.
Additional responsibilities include managing cross-functional contributions overseeing project budgets and platform vendor relationships and integrating emerging technologies into the CI and platform roadmap to support sustainable operational excellence.
What You Will Achieve
Platform Ownership & Strategy: Own the end-to-end transport platform lifecycle from consolidating and prioritizing stakeholder inputs to defining a GL- and GSC-aligned platform vision and multiyear roadmap while managing strategic partnerships with key platform suppliers to ensure scalable highperforming and futureready solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Drive the implementation of AI-enabled solutions to enhance visibility scalability automation and operational efficiency across GT operations.
Lead structured incident response efforts in collaboration with the Global Command Center ensuring timely stakeholder engagement and standardized protocols during transport disruptions.
Establish and mature continuous improvement (CI) governance and tracking mechanisms to support prioritization execution and performance monitoring.
Act as a strategic connector across global teams aligning transformation efforts with NexGen priorities and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
Manage project budgets vendor relationships and emerging technology assessments to support long-term operational excellence and innovation.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 6 years of experience; OR a masters degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1 years of experience
Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational change.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience with automation technologies and digital transformation programs.
Experience within different supply chain roles is a plus
Proficiency in Excel Power BI or similar tools.
Knowledge of Lean Six sigma is a plus.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment manage multiple priorities and maintain focus under pressure. Strong mental acuity and resilience are essential for success in this position.
