Senior Manager, Communication Consulting Chicago, IL 91, 000-225, 000

Location: Chicago ILHybrid 3 days onsite per week

Compensation: $91000 - $225000

A global leader in human capital consulting is hiring a Senior Manager to lead communication and change management work for major employers. You will own the strategy that gets employees to actually understand and adopt the changes their organizations are making from open enrollment to full-scale transformation.

What Youll Own

- Design communication and change management strategies that drive awareness understanding and adoption across multiple industries

- Build communication plans for open enrollment benefits compensation policy updates process changes technology implementations and organizational transitions

- Run audience analysis stakeholder mapping and change impact assessments to shape messaging channel strategy and timing

- Manage editorial review and content coordinating across compliance technical editorial client and vendor stakeholders

- Own project delivery: project plans budgets team coordination client meetings and vendor management

- Partner directly with clients to surface risks dependencies and barriers to adoption and measure whether the communication actually worked

- Direct writers graphic designers and analysts to deliver against performance standards

What Youll Bring

- Bachelors degree in English business communication journalism human resources or a related field

- 7 years in corporate communications and/or change management covering HR compensation benefits retirement policies and organizational change or 5 years of HR/communication consulting inside a professional services firm

- Exceptional written and oral communication including public speaking advanced editing proofreading and technical and persuasive writing

- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management skills

- Strong command of MS Word and PowerPoint

- Comfort prioritizing and delivering against multiple concurrent deadlines

Nice to Have

- Prior communication and change management consulting inside a professional services or consulting firm

- Experience building communication strategies that drove employee adoption of new programs systems or organizational changes

- Hands-on open enrollment communication experience
