Some PMO mobilization and design skill is expected but it is not the primary focus of the role. Financial Institution experience is required. This role is a hybrid role reporting into the Arcadis office in Charlotte NC.

The successful candidate will be the primary delivery lead on client engagements: running governance forums owning reporting and controls and managing risk across large capital programs. Business development is part of the role but is centered on growing existing accounts through strong delivery rather than leading new pursuits.

Role accountabilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of PMO services for banking and financial services clients taking ownership of governance cadence reporting budget/schedule tracking and risk and issue management for large capital programs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders (SVP/MD level and above) building trusted relationships and representing Arcadis in steering committees and governance forums.
  • Manage and coach a small delivery team ensuring consistent high-quality execution of PMO services day to day.
  • Identify performance gaps in existing PMOs and drive practical improvements to process reporting and controls applying working knowledge of PMO structures and systems to mobilize or refine PMO capability where needed.
  • Support organic growth by identifying opportunities to expand Arcadiss footprint within existing banking and financial services accounts.
  • Stay current on industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory requirements affecting program management for financial institutions and bring that knowledge into day-to-day delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
  • 1015 years of relevant experience with a strong track record of hands-on program/PMO delivery rather than solely advisory or business-development roles.
  • Required: experience delivering PMO or program management services within banking or financial services (capital programs technology/capex programs or similar regulated environments).
  • Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders (SVP/MD level and above) in complex matrixed organizations.
  • Strong working knowledge of PMO frameworks governance reporting and risk/issue management with the ability to mobilize or adjust PMO structures as needed PMO set-up experience is a plus not a prerequisite.
  • Experience managing and developing small delivery teams preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills comfortable operating as the trusted day-to-day delivery lead on an account.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP PgMP PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
  • Work visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
  • Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
