Senior Maintenance and Integration Manager

Job Summary
The Senior Integration and Maintenance Manager will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of aircraft modification integration and ongoing maintenance operations during the modification phase and transitioning into the maintenance manager for the aircraft post modification. This role will support two highly modified Global Express aircraft and associated mission systems ensuring full compliance with DCMA and service-related regulations for Contractor-Owned Contractor-Operated (COCO) aircraft as well as adhering to Tenax company standards and policies.
This individual will play a critical role during the modification phase by supporting the Tenax Director of Modification and Integration on program management activities and overseeing maintenance execution and partnering with engineering and design teams to ensure successful mission systems integration. Following transition to operations this role will lead maintenance management for multiple aircraft in various locations supporting operational readiness troubleshooting and coordination of higher-level maintenance activities.
Essential Functions
- Oversee aircraft maintenance modification and integration activities for Global Express or similar large-cabin aircraft platforms
- Support program management efforts during aircraft modification including schedule tracking coordination and reporting
- Ensure all maintenance and modification activities comply with DCMA 8210 Navy service-level policies and guidelines FAA requirements and company procedures.
- Support the Director of Maintenance and Integration in liaison and oversight roles between maintenance engineering and design teams to ensure full understanding and proper integration of mission systems.
- Provide hands-on oversight and guidance during mission system installation integration and testing phases
- Monitor maintenance activities during modification to ensure quality compliance and adherence to program timelines
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with aircraft modification integration and maintenance operations
- Support development and enforcement of maintenance processes documentation and reporting standards as they relate to this specific platform and program
- Travel as required to CONUS and OCONUS locations to oversee and support maintenance operations
- Represent Tenax in interactions with customers partners and regulatory entities maintaining a professional and compliant presence
- Transition aircraft from modification to operational status ensuring maintenance readiness and documentation compliance
- Oversee maintenance management for two operational aircraft ensuring continued airworthiness and mission readiness
- Support operational maintenance personnel with troubleshooting diagnostics and resolution of complex aircraft and mission system issues
- Coordinate and manage higher-level maintenance activities including depot-level repairs vendor support and scheduled overhauls
- Provide program management duties as assigned during both modification and operational phases
Supervisory Responsibility
This position may provide oversight and direction to maintenance personnel and coordinate cross-functional teams but does not require direct reports.
Work Environment
This role operates in both hangar and field environments. This position will require extended travel during the modification integration and testing phases. It will require periodic travel during the operational phase but is available to work remotely during the operational phase.
Travel Requirements
Approximately 50% travel required.
Minimum Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification (required)
- 8-12 plus years of aircraft maintenance experience with significant experience on large-cabin aircraft such as Global Express or similar platforms
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting aircraft modification programs particularly involving mission systems integration
- Strong working knowledge of DCMA 8210 and Navy regulations related to Contractor Owned Contractor Operated (COCO) aircraft
- Experience working on highly modified aircraft including ISR special mission or other missionized platforms
- Proven ability to coordinate across maintenance engineering and program management teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations maintenance documentation and airworthiness requirements
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for both aircraft systems and integrated mission systems
- Willingness and ability to travel including potential international destinations
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Navy aviation maintenance or supporting experience
- Experience supporting Global Express / Bombardier platforms in a missionized configuration
- Background in defense contracting or government aviation programs
- Experience working under DCMA oversight or similar regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with aircraft modification STCs engineering change processes and configuration management
- Prior experience in maintenance leadership or integration management role
- Bachelors degree in Aviation Maintenance Engineering or a related field
