Leidos Defense Sensors Sensor Research Analysis Division is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to join our Army Project Office Logistics Support Team. The candidate will support the PAC-3 and Future Interceptor weapon systems by as a Logistics Analyst in Integrated Product Support environment. The candidate must have strong analytical problem-solving technical writing and briefing skills. They also must be able to work independently and provide technical recommendations to Government leadership. The candidate will be required to acquire a technical understanding of PAC-3 and Future Interceptor weapon systems to ensure critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide a cohesive approach to logistics support requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct logistics support analysis and must understand logistics Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements as outlined in AR 700-127.

  • Evaluate of IPS elements and making an analysis on critical decisions for program life cycle logistics support to include development of milestone documentation fielding plans logistics demonstration plans and reports and the development of Basis of Issue Plan/Manpower Requirements Criteria (BOIP/MARC).

  • Research availability and support the procurement delivery and acquisition planning of GFE and other support equipment required for system development integration and test during all phases of the programs.

  • Support engagements with DA/DOW agencies activities and industry engaged in logistics activities and reviews and analyzes reports for assigned systems to determine solutions to logistics problems to circumvent potential impacts to program cost schedule and performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 8 to 12 years of prior relevant experience or a masters degree with 6 to 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Candidates without the typical degree and experience combination may qualify based on the following education and relevant experience equivalencies:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 19 years of relevant experience

  • Associate degree with a minimum of 17 years of relevant experience

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Army systems within a fast-paced project office environment.

  • Must be a US citizen possess and able to maintain an active Secret security clearance.

  • Must be a resident of Huntsville AL or willing to relocate to the Huntsville AL area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical problem-solving technical writing and briefing skills.

  • Be able to work independently and provide technical recommendations to Government leadership.

Pay Range $82550.00 - $149225.00
