Location: Reno Nevada Full-time On-site in a collaborative office where youll work closely with experienced litigators and have significant courtroom exposure.

Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Nevada and have 4 years of litigation experience. Experience in defense litigation medical malpractice healthcare law or insurance defense is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Manage complex litigation matters from case inception through trial.
• Develop litigation strategy and advise clients throughout all phases of litigation.
• Draft pleadings dispositive motions discovery legal memoranda and settlement agreements.
• Conduct and defend depositions attend mediations hearings arbitrations and trials.
• Provide strategic legal analysis and case evaluations.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and legal support staff.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Deliver outstanding client service while managing multiple active litigation matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Nevada State Bar.
• 4 years of litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Nevada State and Federal court procedures.
• Excellent legal writing research negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to independently manage litigation matters.
• Medical malpractice healthcare law or insurance defense experience preferred.
