Pay: $180000.00 - $200000.00 per year

Location: New York City NY Hybrid schedule with Monday through Thursday in the office and Fridays remote providing both collaboration and flexibility.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in New York and have strong litigation experience handling matters in New York State courts. Attorneys with approximately 6 years of directly relevant litigation experience may be considered if they demonstrate exceptional qualifications.

Job Description

• Manage sophisticated commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and independently manage an active caseload.
• Draft pleadings dispositive motions briefs and other complex legal filings.
• Conduct depositions oral arguments hearings mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients providing strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with partners on complex litigation strategy.
• Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
• Prepare cases for trial and actively participate in courtroom proceedings.
• Maintain exceptional client service while meeting demanding litigation deadlines.

Qualifications

• Active New York Bar license in good standing.
• 6 years of commercial or civil litigation experience preferably 7 years.
• Extensive litigation experience in New York State courts.
• Strong legal writing motion practice and analytical skills.
• Experience independently handling depositions hearings and oral arguments.
• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
