Senior-level Technical Business Architect

We are seeking senior-level Technical Business Architects to support a large-scale Azure cloud migration program. This is a highly technical hybrid role that blends architecture awareness with strong requirements ownership.

The ideal candidate can engage directly with cloud platform architects and engineers translate technical designs into structured actionable work and ensure delivery teams have clear build-ready requirements. This role is not a traditional Business Analyst-it requires technical depth architectural understanding and the ability to operate confidently in technical discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive technical requirements and backlog aligned to cloud platform architecture
• Translate architecture inputs into clear actionable user stories including scope and acceptance criteria
• Partner directly with platform architects and engineering teams to validate requirements and ensure build readiness
• Engage with Azure cloud architects to clarify solution designs dependencies and platform requirements
• Support:
  • Service requirements & user story development
  • Technical analysis & solution design alignment
  • Backlog refinement and prioritization
• Provide work delivery support including:
  • Scope and requirement clarification
  • Assisting in technical breakdown of work
  • Reviewing system and platform impact
  • Ensuring requirements are detailed enough to prevent delivery blockers
• Operate with a blended BA / Architect mindset enabling seamless communication between technical and delivery teams

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong experience supporting cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Solid understanding of cloud services and application architecture (compute storage databases security etc.)
• Proven ability to work directly with architects and engineers in technical discussions
• Experience translating technical designs into:
  • User stories
  • Epics / features
  • Acceptance criteria
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery and backlog management (JIRA or similar tools)
• Experience supporting cloud migrations or platform transformations preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and delivery audiences

Ideal Profile

• Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong cloud experience or
• Solution Architect leaning profile with hands-on experience in requirements ownership and Agile delivery

• Seeking 2 senior-level resources to support an Azure-focused cloud migration program
• Hybrid role combining Business Analysis and light Solution Architecture responsibilities
• Must be comfortable engaging directly with cloud architects and engineers translating technical discussions into clear actionable requirements

  • Operate with a blended BA/Architect mindset to support effective technical communication across teams
• Ideal profile:
  • Senior Business Analyst with strong technical/cloud depth or
  • Technical Architect with strong documentation and requirements management skills
• This is not a deeply hands-on engineering role but candidates must have enough technical understanding to effectively manage and coordinate cloud migration workstreams
