Role: SENIOR LEVEL CLOUD ARCHITECT

Location: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (2 Broadway - MTA Headquarters)

A current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification (Architect Professional or Architect Associate) is strongly preferred. Please submit certification credentials when available.

This role focuses on designing cloud architectures primarily for Oracle Cloud along with AWS Azure frameworks governance models and cloud standards for the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable secure multi/hybrid cloud architectures. This role may require guiding engineering teams or supplementing their skill sets. A strong foundation in on premises infrastructure is essential due to hybrid integrations and migration initiatives. The organization is also planning to expand Infrastructure as Code capabilities.

Architecture Documentation (Visio or Abacus): 2 3 years
Deep expertise in cloud platforms services governance frameworks and best practices

Proficiency in OCI is mandatory. The architect will focus on developing architectures standards and governance models for the OCI platform. Experience across other cloud providers is a plus for multi cloud initiatives.

Extensive experience with cloud servers and environments with configuration patching network and VLAN configuration backups system monitoring and alerts.
