Manage kitchen staff and oversee day-to-day kitchen operations
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for food production
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Manage inventory including ordering and controlling stock levels
Train mentor and evaluate kitchen personnel
Collaborate with the executive chef to design and update menus
Monitor food cost and budgeting for kitchen operations
Implement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Requirements
Associates degree in Culinary Arts or a related field
Proven experience in a kitchen management role preferably in high-volume settings
Strong leadership and team management skills
Expertise in food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with inventory management systems and food cost controls
