Senior JD Edwards CNC Administrator

Our client a rapidly growing and financially stable organization is seeking a Senior JD Edwards CNC Administrator to lead the administration optimization security and long-term strategy of its JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level JD Edwards CNC professional with extensive experience managing EnterpriseOne infrastructure upgrades security integrations performance tuning disaster recovery and cloud readiness. This role will partner with business leaders developers infrastructure teams and third-party vendors to ensure a secure highly available and scalable ERP environment.

The Senior JD Edwards CNC Administrator is responsible for the overall health performance administration and continuous improvement of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ecosystem across development testing and production environments.

This individual will serve as the technical authority for CNC architecture environment management security integrations system upgrades and infrastructure coordination while supporting future modernization initiatives including cloud technologies and AI-enabled capabilities.

• Install configure maintain and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments.
• Manage multiple path codes including Development Prototype Test and Production.
• Administer Enterprise Server HTML Server AIS Server Business Services (BSSV) Orchestrator and Server Manager.
• Perform environment refreshes cloning and migrations.
• Ensure overall system availability reliability scalability and performance.

• Perform package builds deployments and promotions using Object Management Workbench (OMW).
• Manage JD Edwards Tools Releases ESUs ASUs and application upgrades.
• Monitor enterprise performance and proactively resolve system issues.
• Troubleshoot EnterpriseOne applications batch jobs workflows integrations and scheduler performance.
• Support batch queues server configurations and application services.

• Administer JD Edwards security including:
  • User provisioning
  • Role-based security
  • Environment security
  • Object security
  • Menu security
• Partner with Information Security teams to ensure compliance with corporate security standards.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain security documentation and governance processes.

• Lead planning and execution of:
  • Tools Releases
  • ESU Deployments
  • EnterpriseOne Upgrades
  • Platform Enhancements
• Evaluate emerging JD Edwards technologies including:
  • Orchestrator
  • AIS
  • UX One
  • REST APIs
  • Artificial Intelligence capabilities
• Recommend modernization initiatives that improve performance automation and user experience.

• Configure and support:

• Support integrations between JD Edwards and:
  • Warehouse Management Systems
  • Transportation Systems
  • Middleware platforms

• Troubleshoot interface failures and optimize integration performance.

• Partner with Infrastructure and Database Administration teams to maintain optimal system performance.
• Support Windows Linux and IBM AS400 environments.
• Write and execute SQL statements to support troubleshooting and analysis.
• Assist with capacity planning and infrastructure scaling.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Develop disaster recovery procedures and governance documentation.
• Improve operational processes through automation and standardization.
• Support ITIL-based Incident Problem Change and Release Management processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve ERP stability reliability and operational efficiency.

• 15 years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC Administration experience
• Extensive knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture
• Expert-level CNC administration experience
• Strong experience with:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field preferred
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience supporting high-availability environments
• ITIL certification or practical ITIL experience
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) Large Language Models (LLMs) and Machine Learning concepts
