Senior Infrastructure Engineer (LinuxUnix and Windows servers)

Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Linux/Unix and Windows servers)
Location: Cleveland OH Pittsburgh PA or Dallas TX (5 days Onsite)
Employment Type: Full Time

Future duties and responsibilities:

• Manage and support enterprise infrastructure environments across:
• Linux/Unix and Windows servers
• Virtualized and cloud environments
• Middleware and application hosting platforms
• Monitor infrastructure health performance and system availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents outages and performance bottlenecks
• Support deployment configuration and maintenance of infrastructure components
• Collaborate with application database network security and DevOps teams
• Implement infrastructure automation and operational improvements
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain system documentation operational procedures and architecture diagrams
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security audit and banking regulatory requirements
• Support disaster recovery backup and high availability strategies
• Participate in on-call support rotations and incident management processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent preferred but not required.
• 5 years of experience with Linux/Unix and Windows server administration
• 5 years of experience in Infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
• Subject matter expertise in Sysdig
• Strong experience with Server provisioning and configuration management
• Good knowledge of Networking fundamentals (DNS TCP/IP Load Balancing Firewalls); Enterprise storage and backup solutions
• 5 years of experience with Shell scripting; Python or Powershell
• Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines & DevOps practices
• Experience supporting Enterprise applications & middleware platforms
• Experience supporting database environments (Oracle SQL Server DB2 PostgreSQL etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities
• Experience performing root cause analysis (RCA)
• Understanding of system performance tuning and capacity planning
• Experience working in high-availability and mission-critical environments

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Banking or Financial services industry is a plus
• Exposure to cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Monitoring tools such as Splunk Dynatrace AppDynamics Grafana or Prometheus
