Role Overview

As a Senior Industrial Engineer you will be responsible for optimizing complex manufacturing systems including personnel workflows ergonomics material logistics production sequencing and equipment layouts. This is a senior-level individual contributor role that requires advanced knowledge to lead complex projects and drive continuous improvement and automation activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects of diverse scope independently with limited supervision; coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.

  • Process Optimization: Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.

  • Analysis & Implementation: Conduct cost inventory and production control studies to develop and implement facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.

  • Continuous Improvement: Support automation initiatives and assist plant/facilities engineers with long-term facility planning and design.

  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.

Required Qualifications
  • Education & Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 3 years with a Masters degree; or a PhD.

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of manufacturing systems ergonomics materials logistics and production process sequences.

  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to solve complex difficult problems related to facility operations and efficiency.

  • Professionalism: Ability to work independently mentor junior staff and drive strategic manufacturing goals.
