Job Summary
- Provide HR leadership to a rapidly expanding Jenbacher Operations ensuring strategic alignment between workforce needs and business objectives.
- Provide business knowledge leadership and direction in support of Operations & Supply Chain.
- Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics.
- Coach leaders and supervisors in effective leadership practices including communication and positive employee relations.
- Closely partner with our HR competence centers in the areas of recruiting payroll C&B and HR operations.
- Work collaboratively with HR team memebers to ensure consistent site practices.
- Focus on development leadership and implementation of local HR projects as well as support in the introduction of company-wide HR programs and standards.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements and regulations including employment matters. Serve as general advisor on employment law and government regulations.
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business or related field; PHR SPHR certifications preferred.
- Firm grasp of the fundamentals of HR management; minimum of 8 years of experience; minimum of 5 years relevant manufacturing experience.
- Experience in an international company service orientation and proactive working style.
- Demonstrated businessacumen and ownership of HR as a business partner.
- Experience leading positive employee relations and communication programs.
- Working knowledge of concepts practices and procedures in areas such as dispute resolution performance management employment law employee relations recruiting/staffing communications and change management learning and development compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping.
- Enthusiastic team player who likes to help shape things.
- Strong interpersonal written verbal and presentation skills.
