The opportunity

As a senior graphic designer you are a talented and motivated creative professional with design strategy and innovative solutions at your core. Youll consult with internal clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships. Youll collaborate with art directors cross-disciplinary teams stakeholders and clients to develop and execute compelling design solutions and engaging ideas rooted in strategy that moves business forward.

Your key responsibilities

As a strong communicator and conceptual thinker youll leverage your proven ability to articulate ideas and implement advanced creative solutions for multifaceted design projects. Youll exhibit business acumen create innovative design solutions and keep abreast of industry trends. Youll be instrumental in contributing to a high-performing team environment and passionate about mentoring peers and delivering outstanding client experiences.

You can expect to design for virtual and in-person events creating multi-faceted and multi-sensorial end-to-end experiences while connecting digital and physical to bring events to life. Youll conduct design consultations while navigating conversations with knowledge and insight toward business solutions.
Youll provide strategic direction working with a team to manage client expectations in line with the overall digital and customer vision. Youll participate and contribute to structured brainstorming planning prototyping and storytelling sessions and co-develop creative briefs storyboards and layouts to effectively communicate design ideas that are persuasive and inclusive. Youll conceptualize and execute design solutions that align with business objectives while offering elevated client and team experiences. Youll mentor creative project team members in developing conceptual skills and provide constructive feedback to implement the project vision.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelors degree in graphic design or related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Creative digital portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills
• Five-plus years of related experiential design experience as a senior graphic designer (at events agency marketing agency interior design firm architecture firm or in event or trade show environment)
• A comprehensive understanding of the relationships between space place and social interaction along with a track record of designing physical and virtual experiences that connect stories to space and people to place.
• Ability to understand the internal clients vision through active listening advanced communication and diplomacy with business partners project owners vendors and colleagues
• Advanced experience and technical understanding of digital media and print design in-house and with vendors
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with proficiency in prototyping Microsoft Office and Teams
• Experience working in a fast paced matrixed agency or in-house team environment to develop a range of creative initiatives

Ideally youll also have

• Experience working and mentoring in a virtual environment
• Ability to skillfully liaison between groups of people to bring positive solutions that meet business objectives
• Problem-solving skills to identify resolve and overcome obstacles
