Location: Mission Hills California
Shift: Day Shift 5x8-Hour Shifts
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Senior GI / Endoscopy Technician for an outpatient endoscopy center in Mission Hills California. This role is ideal for a skilled endoscopy professional with strong procedural experience and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-volume GI procedural setting.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting endoscopic procedures maintaining procedural equipment and assisting physicians and nursing staff within a fast-paced outpatient environment.

• Assist physicians during GI and endoscopic procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms instruments scopes and equipment
• Perform back table setup and room preparation
• Support procedures including:
  • Upper Endoscopies (EGD)
  • Colonoscopies
  • Polypectomies
  • Biopsies
  • PEG Placements
  • Banding
  • Balloon Dilations
  • Bravo Procedures
  • X-Track Procedures
• Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of procedural equipment
• Maintain patient safety and infection prevention standards
• Assist with specimen handling and procedural documentation
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and procedural staff to support efficient workflow
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of endoscopy equipment

• Minimum 3 years of Endoscopy Technician experience required
• Candidates must meet one of the following:
  • SGNA education/program completion; OR
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Endoscopy experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Strong GI procedural and equipment handling experience required

Candidates should have experience with:

• Colonoscopes
• EGD Scopes
• EBUS
• EUS
• Enteroscopes
• ERCP Scopes
• Fiber Optics
• Flexible Sigmoidoscopes

Preferred experience includes:

• EPIC EMR
• ProVation documentation system
• Back table setup
• Room setup and turnover
