Senior Functional Leader, Tooling Fulfillment

Job Summary
This role ensures that tooling demand generated upstream is translated into optimized allocation dispatch utilization and recovery of tools across a global network of tool centers. Partnering closely with Tooling Operations Planning & Scheduling Demand Placement and Field Fulfillment the leader establishes a unified operating model where tooling availability is proactively aligned with outage schedules and execution needs.
Essential Responsibilities
- Business Strategy & Vision: Define and lead the enterprise strategy for tooling fulfillment. Transform tooling operations from reactive dispatch into a predictive network-optimized capability that ensures tool availability reduces idle inventory and supports on-time outage execution.
- Process Harmonization & Operating Model: Drive global standardization across tool centers establishing a single operating model for tooling allocation dispatch transfer and return. Integrate tooling workflows across Field Services and Onsite Services embedding Lean principles to improve utilization and reduce non-value-added handling.
- Digital Roadmap Ownership: Own the functional roadmap for Tooling Fulfillment within ISM. Enable seamless integration between upstream demand signals and tooling execution systems positioning Salesforce as the orchestration layer and ETM (Enterprise Tool Management) as the system of record. Ensure scalable governed solutions and eliminate fragmented tooling workflows.
- Below is primary process in scope
- Integration between Salesforce and ETM for end-to-end tooling visibility in support of tool allocation reservation and dispatch management including dynamic tooling reallocation driven by event date changes and schedule shifts
- Fulfillment Tracking of externally sourced materials and services (e.g. via Ariba PMx Alpha iProc)
- Support future roadmap of ETM technology evolution
- Transformation Delivery Partnership: Serve as the primary functional counterpart to -own solution design validate blueprints and shape delivery to ensure alignment with business priorities. Drive clarity on requirements scope and value-based prioritization.
- Change Leadership & Adoption: Drive adoption of a system-driven tooling model replacing manual tracking and siloed processes. Align stakeholders and embed consistent practices across regions and tool centers.
- People & Capability Leadership: Establish governance decision rights and escalation frameworks to enable efficient tooling allocation and movement decisions. Build capability to operate in a data-driven asset-optimized environment.
- Legacy Application: Own functional accountability for legacy tooling and tracking systems ensuring disciplined backlog execution while supporting transition and sunset aligned with the ISM roadmap.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.
- 7 additional years of experience in cross functional roles supporting Commercial Supply Chain Field Services Region Operations organizations
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience leading service operations or field service transformations across regions using Digital Technology.
- Strong background in process standardization Lean and operating model design.
- Functional expertise with GEV Applications specifically Service Manager Workbench ETM.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into scalable digital solutions in partnership with IT.
- Experienced individual contributor with strong cross-functional influence and executive communication skills.
For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position the pay range for this position is between $118100 and $168100 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
