Senior Functional Consultant – Geneva

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Geneva
• Experience in:
  • SQL and database technologies
  • Data analysis and reconciliation
  • APIs ETL and system integrations
  • Batch processing and operational workflows
• Familiarity with scripting/programming languages such as Python or Shell scripting is preferred

Domain Expertise

• Strong understanding of Alternative Investments operations and investment accounting
• Experience supporting hedge funds private markets or asset management platforms
• Good understanding of fund accounting securities processing and financial instruments

Business & System Analysis

• Experience in requirement gathering system analysis and technical documentation
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical solutions

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to work independently in a client-facing onsite role
• Strong coordination skills across business and technology teams

Key Responsibilities

Geneva Platform Support & Development

• Work extensively on the Geneva platform for investment accounting reporting and operational support
• Configure enhance and support Geneva workflows accounting rules and reporting processes
• Support Geneva interfaces upstream/downstream integrations and reconciliation processes
• Troubleshoot system issues data discrepancies and operational exceptions

Technical Analysis & Integration

• Perform system analysis technical documentation and impact assessments
• Develop and support SQL queries stored procedures and data analysis activities
• Work on API integrations ETL workflows and file-based interfaces
• Collaborate with development teams on automation and modernization initiatives
• Support cloud migration or data transformation initiatives where applicable

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Interact with client business users fund accountants and operations teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies requirement workshops and release activities
• Support UAT production deployments and post-production validation
• Coordinate with global onsite/offshore teams for project delivery
