Senior Frontend AEM Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Frontend AEM Developer to join our web development team and help build enhance and maintain high-performance digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and modern frontend technologies.

The ideal candidate is a strong frontend engineer with hands-on experience in AEM Sightly React JavaScript/TypeScript CSS web accessibility and SEO and who enjoys working closely with Marketing and Creative teams to translate business requirements into high-quality digital experiences.

This role requires someone who can work independently from requirements through implementation testing deployment and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise websites and digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Build modern reusable and scalable AEM components using React JavaScript/TypeScript HTML and CSS.
• Develop and integrate React applications and components within an AEM environment.
• Work closely with Marketing UX/UI Content SEO teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective web solutions.
• Translate designs wireframes and marketing requirements into responsive accessible and high-quality web experiences.
• Ensure websites comply with WCAG accessibility standards including keyboard navigation screen-reader compatibility semantic HTML proper ARIA implementation color contrast and accessible forms/components.
• Implement and optimize technical SEO including semantic markup metadata structured content heading hierarchy internal linking canonicalization page performance and crawlability.
• Optimize frontend applications for performance Core Web Vitals responsive behavior and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop reusable AEM components templates dialogs and frontend implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend AEM accessibility SEO and performance issues.
• Collaborate with backend developers QA engineers designers content authors and marketing stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend coding standards and best practices.
• Support website releases enhancements and production issues when needed.
• Stay current with modern frontend technologies accessibility standards SEO practices and web development trends.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of frontend web development experience.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Strong experience with and modern frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience developing responsive websites and reusable frontend components.
• Strong understanding of web accessibility and WCAG standards.
• Practical experience implementing SEO best practices for enterprise websites.
• Experience working with Marketing UX Content and other business stakeholders.
• Ability to understand business requirements and independently translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Strong debugging troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $104000-$127000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits including medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) 11 paid holidays vacation time and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications experience and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program. Bonus eligibility is reviewed at the time of hire and annually at the Companys discretion.
