This role goes beyond reporting what happened to helping leaders understand why it happened what it means and what actions to take to the Controller the Sr. Financial Analyst will be heavily involved in financial modeling budgeting forecasting and month-end close activities while serving as a trusted finance partner to functional leaders. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor intellectual curiosity and the confidence to influence stakeholders through data-driven ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning Analysis & ModelingDevelop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support budgeting forecasting variance analysis and scenario planningLead detailed analysis of operating performance identifying trends risks and opportunities across cost centers and functionsTranslate financial results into clear narratives that explain what the numbers are telling us not just what they areBudgeting Forecasting & ReportingPlay a key role in the annual budgeting and standard cost creation processesIdentify and communicate expected future costs across Quality Supply Chain and Engineering during recurring forecast monthly management reporting packages with meaningful insights and actionable recommendationsPartner with budget owners to analyze spending explain variances and drive improved financial disciplineBusiness PartnershipAct as a finance partner to cost center owners across the business helping leaders understand cost behavior trends and impact the business has on the numbersInfluence operational decision-making through strong financial insight and collaborationPartner closely with Supply Chain to analyze inventory-related metrics working capital trends and operational driversProvide reporting analysis and insight related to inventory and production performanceMonth-End CloseActively participate in the monthly close processPrepare journal entries accruals and supporting schedulesSupport account reconciliations and variance explanationsContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes reporting automation and data qualitySupport systems enhancements and analytics tools as neededContribute to building scalable finance processes in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentQualifications & ExperienceRequired:Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field5 years of progressive experience in cost accounting and financial analysis FP&A or related rolesAdvanced financial modeling and Excel skillsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearlyExperience working closely with non-finance stakeholders and influencing decisionsHands-on experience with budgeting forecasting standard cost development and month-end close activitiesPreferred:Experience in pharmaceutical life sciences manufacturing or CDMO environmentsExperience partnering with Supply Chain or OperationsERP system experience (e.g. D365 SAP Oracle NetSuite or similar)Power BI Tableau or other data visualization tools#LI-Onsite
