Working for our team you can truly make a Financial Analyst Plant Finance (Louisville)Reports to: Multisite Controller Location: Louisville Plant (on-site) Dotted-line partnership: Plant Leadership TeamAs a key member of the Finance Team the Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic business partner to plant leadership and corporate finance. This role is responsible for delivering actionable financial insights developing financial models analyzing operational performance forecasting business results and identifying opportunities to improve profitability productivity and cost performance. The role also provides on-site accounting support journal entry preparation and account reconciliations to ensure the site has day-to-day accounting continuity between monthly visits from the Multisite Controller. This is primarily an analytical business-partnering role (80% of time). A smaller portion (20%) is dedicated to hands-on accounting support as described work at MCC:Compensation: Competitive CompensationGenerous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day plus two floating HolidaysFinancial Analysis & Business InsightsAnalyze financial and operational data to identify trends risks opportunities and key performance meaningful financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decision data-driven recommendations to improve profitability productivity working capital and overall business variance analysis against budget forecast prior year and operational insights and recommendations to leadership through concise reporting and Budgeting & PlanningLead monthly forecasting processes by analyzing trends volume assumptions cost drivers and operational annual budgeting and long-range planning financial performance and proactively communicate risks and leadership in evaluating capital investments cost reduction initiatives and business improvement ReportingPrepare and publish timely monthly financial and operational and maintain KPI dashboards and financial results with clear explanations and reporting automation and continuous improvement Finance PartnershipPartner closely with plant leadership operations supply chain and corporate finance manufacturing costs labor utilization inventory trends material usage and production productivity process improvement and cost-savings & Close SupportPrepare and post standard and non-standard journal entries in support of the monthly close process in accordance with GAAP and company monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts; research and resolve reconciling items unresolved or unusual reconciling items to the Multisite Controller who retains review and approval authority over journal entries and supporting documentation for close activities in accordance with internal control and audit as the primary on-site accounting resource coordinating close-cycle deadlines with the Multisite Controller given the Controllers multisite Degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business or related field.5 years of experience in financial analysis FP&A or manufacturing/operational knowledge of GAAP and hands-on experience with journal entry preparation and balance sheet Excel skills including financial modeling pivot tables Power Query and data with ERP systems and Power BI is analytical communication and problem-solving skills; comfortable operating independently on-site with remote leadership.#LI-SD1#appcast
