We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning & analysis (FP&A) operational reporting and strategic decision-making in a manufacturing and distribution environment.

Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial modeling budgeting forecasting variance analysis month-end close support and executive reporting. This role partners closely with Accounting and Operations to drive performance improve processes and deliver actionable financial insights.

This is a high-visibility role for a hands-on analyst who thrives in a fast-paced multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead budgeting forecasting and financial planning (FP&A) processes

  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models and scenario analysis

  • Perform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast/prior year)

  • Support month-end close in partnership with Accounting

  • Prepare executive-level reporting for Income Statement Balance Sheet and Cash Flow

  • Analyze margins inventory valuation (moving average costing) and operational KPIs

  • Improve financial reporting systems dashboards and ERP processes

  • Support internal controls and GAAP-compliant financial reporting

  • Identify process improvements and implement scalable reporting solutions

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis FP&A or corporate finance

  • Experience in manufacturing distribution or multi-entity operations

  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills

  • Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with ERP systems such as IFS Epicor (Prophet 21/Eagle) BI tools or similar

  • GAAP knowledge

  • Experience supporting operations and inventory analysis
