Senior Financial Analyst

Scopelyis seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the team behind MONOPOLY GO!This role will be located in Culver City CA on a hybrid basis.

In this role you will own the games recurring operational finance activities while building the tools and automation that make our work faster more accurate and more scalable. MONOPOLY GO! is a global phenomenon and the biggest mobile game launch in history captivating millions of players worldwide.

You will lead operating expense month-end close accruals headcount tracking purchase orders Workday approvals and T&E visibility. This is a build-oriented role with a clear mandate to improve how the work gets donenot simply execute existing processes. We are looking for someone who can identify opportunities to apply AI and automation thoughtfully and effectively.

Over time this role will help advance an AI-native approach to FP&A connecting close planning reporting and approvals so routine work can run more efficiently and the team can focus on higher-value judgment. This is a greenfield opportunity with significant autonomy and a dedicated budget for tools and experimentation.

You will also serve as the primary Finance business partner to our Engineering organization acting as its main point of contact for spending headcount and planning. You will work closely with Finance Managers the VP of Finance for MONOPOLY GO! and cross-functional partners across the business with strong senior-level support as you ramp into the role.

• Run the OpEx close cadence. Month-end close accruals reclasses and headcount reconciliation plus high-volume PO/Workday approvals and T&E accurately on time and independently before long.
• Build the automation. Replace manual reporting with automated workflows and dashboards and apply AI where it genuinely helps across close planning reporting and approvals.
• Partner with Engineering. Act as the finance business partner to the MONOPOLY GO! Engineering organization helping them understand and plan their spend and headcount and work with People & Talent Business Operations Customer Support and QA to gather budget inputs and explain OpEx variances clearly.
• Think in systems. Connect steps across finance so the process gets simpler over time with sensible checks where judgment matters.
• Keep the models trustworthy. Maintain revenue/cost and workforce-planning models so leadership sees current reconciled defensible numbers.

• An automation habit youve automated manual reporting or finance processes and youre interested in applying AI to real work. Experience with BigQuery SQL Python or AI tools is a big plus
• Operational reliability a track record of dependable detail-accurate delivery on recurring high-volume work
• Clear communication you can explain numbers and variances to non-finance partners
• Located in or willing to relocate to the Los Angeles metro working on-site/hybrid
• Ownership and integrity you do well in a fast-paced ambiguous environment and are always looking for ways to add value
• Strong Excel and financial modeling you build and maintain revenue/cost models and handle large datasets without hand-holding
• Hands-on FP&A foundation youve done planning forecasting variance analysis and a real close/reporting cadence and can hit the ground running
• 25 years of finance/analytical experience ideally in FP&A or finance at a brand-name technology or high-growth company

• An undergraduate degree in engineering (computer mechanical electrical industrial aerospace etc.) a real plus for this role.
• Something youve built an automation or tool you can walk us through.
• Experience with financial systems such as Oracle and Workday / Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Data platforms Big Query etc.
• A genuine interest in games consumer products or technology-driven businesses.
