Senior Financial Analyst

Under general direction of the TRMC T&E/S&T Program Manager this senior position supports overarching financial management of the T&E/S&T Program for the Program Manager. Programmatic and budgetary documentation will be created and tracked to support programmatic decisions. This includes:

• Tracking all of the T&E S&T investment programs programmatic documentation and budgets and the tracking of every transaction for every program project and subproject
• Tracking responsibilities include being able to provide snapshots of programmatic status and of the budget obligations expenditure and accruals at any snapshot in time and to be able to project future performance and to perform what-if exercises
• Develop implement and maintain tools for tracking performance of the program to enable financial or other programmatic decisions to be made based on performance data
• Regularly produce programmatic and financial performance assessments based on input coming from the field for the investment programs
• Establishing and maintaining contact with the investment programs programmatic and financial leads as well as the TRMC CFO and MIPR analysts to be able to track all financial transactions and other programmatic data
• Archiving Programmatic information using best practices including financial data

• 10 years of prior directly relevant experience; Relevant Department of Defense financial management experience
• Keen understanding of federal government budget/accounting systems processes procedures and regulations; Federal financial database familiarity
• Strong analytic administrative communication computer and organizational skills
• Strong financial management and planning skills
• Ability to initiate facilitate and maintain sensitive relationships
• Ability to produce data products and briefings for senior level leaders
• Must be a team player skilled with resolving conflicts
• Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented
• Hard-working dependable and able to work without direct supervision
• Active Secret Clearance

• Proficient in Microsoft Office application and accounting software
