About this position:

The ideal role for an accounting professional growing into an FP&A career track. This is a hands-on role working directly with the CFO blending financial planning & analysis with core accounting execution youll take ownership of budgeting forecasting and business partnering while also supporting close and revenue recognition. Youll bring a tech-forward mindset using Campfire and AI tools to modernize accounting and FP&A processes freeing up more time for strategically impactful work.

Key Responsibilities

• FP&A & Business Partnering:
• Own budgeting forecasting and scenario planning models partnering closely with the CFO and department leaders to support strategic decision-making.
• Build and maintain reporting and dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into financial performance.
• Support variance analysis and financial storytelling explaining not just what happened but why.
• Accounting Support:
• Support month-end close and revenue recognition processes helping ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Systems & Process Improvement:
• Become a power user of the Campfire platform using it to automate and speed up close reconciliation and forecasting processes.
• Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions (within Campfire and other AI tools) for reporting forecasting and accounting workflows.
• Audit & Compliance:
• Support the annual financial statement audit preparing reports and supporting documentation as needed.

Who are you

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required; CPA a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience spanning accounting and FP&A or accounting experience with a genuine interest in moving into FP&A (SaaS or technology environment preferred).
• Working knowledge of GAAP and exposure to ASC 606/SaaS revenue models.
• Experience with Campfire NetSuite or similar platforms.
• Genuine interest in leveraging AI tools (Claude Copilot or similar) for process automation across accounting and FP&A.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight.
• Strong communication skills this role partners directly with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
