Senior Finance Manager

Location: Washington DC (Hybrid 2 Days Onsite)
Compensation: $120000$140000
Reports To: CFO

Seeking a Finance Manager or Senior Finance Manager to lead accounting and financial operations within a growing mission-driven technology organization. This role combines hands-on accounting leadership with strategic finance responsibilities partnering closely with the CFO to support budgeting forecasting reporting compliance and organizational growth.

• 6 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Strong expertise in AP AR General Ledger payroll and month-end close
• Experience with budgeting forecasting financial reporting and variance analysis
• Grant and project accounting experience required
• Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and reporting
• QuickBooks experience required
• experience preferred
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Experience in HealthTech SaaS Digital Health Technology or other growth-stage environments preferred

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations including AP AR payroll and general ledger management
• Manage outsourced accounting resources and ensure timely accurate financial processes
• Oversee monthly close financial reporting and GAAP compliance
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting forecasting scenario planning and strategic initiatives
• Manage grant and project accounting including budget tracking burn-rate monitoring and compliance reporting
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
• Improve financial systems controls and processes to support organizational growth
• Support cross-functional teams with financial planning and decision-making
