Senior Finance Manager , Amazon Leo

Are you ready to get in on the ground floor of Amazons long-term initiative to design launch and maintain a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low-latency high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world Its Day 1 for Amazons next billion dollar business and we are looking for an entrepreneurial minded Sr. Finance Manager to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about technology is interested in analyzing new business opportunities who thinks/acts globally and has the ability to create and implement solutions to business questions.

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial by nature a strategic thinker analytical in approach have a demonstrated ability to develop financial models that provide intelligence for business decisions and able to leverage their project management skills to drive business objectives.

This role requires a self-starter with superb business modeling skills a keen attention to detail ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a track record of being an advisor to the business. The candidate must have the aptitude to incorporate new approaches and methodologies (including statistical concepts) while dealing with big data and be able to develop and define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions.

Key job responsibilities
- Design develop & maintain long range financial models to project and evaluate business performance against key goals and metrics
- Perform strategic financial analysis of key go-to-market strategies including; country prioritization partnership evaluation and sales strategy
- Create and implement revenue and cost models models to be incorporated into business reviews
- Project manage financial deliverables aligned to business objectives
- Create and implement financial and operating performance metrics identifying key call outs and drivers to senior management
- Develop financial benchmarking analysis of key competitors

- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
- Experience in tax finance or a related analytical field
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- 8 years of spearheading strategic cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable financial results and advance organizational objectives experience
- 8 years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

- MBA or CPA
- Experience recruiting hiring and developing talent
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
- Experience in mentoring junior finance or business team members
- Experience working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
