KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Bain Capital Credits leverage facilities including middle market CLOs asset-backed facilities and fund level financing arrangements. Oversee liquidity planning across a spectrum of levered private credit funds including Bain Capitals BDCs evergreen funds and SMAs.

Liquidity Forecasting & Management

  • Forecast fund-level liquidity and leverage metrics factoring in new deal pipeline realizations and use of financing facilities.
  • Prepare borrowing / paydown requests to maintain appropriate liquidity for new deal funding and other cash needs
  • Maintain and advise Portfolio Management team on fund-level liquidity and leverage statistics over various time horizons and stressed scenarios

Leverage Facility Administration & Management

  • Maintain borrowing bases and portfolio surveillance models to support liquidity and financing facility management processes.
  • Optimize financing facility collateral to maximize availability and manage against facility concentration limits and eligibility criteria.
  • Drive collateral reporting process with trustees and other reporting requirements with lenders for credit facilities and CLOs as required by indentures / credit agreements.
  • Coordinate with lenders trustees and Bain Operations to execute quarterly waterfall distributions for credit facilities and CLOs.
  • Coordinate with rating agencies to obtain credit estimates for portfolio companies.
  • Facilitate lender asset review process with Bain deal teams ahead of primary deal fundings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of processes and technology solutions to improve day-to-day efficiency and accuracy.

DESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience preferably working within private credit and/or CLOs
  • Four-year college degree with a strong academic background

  • Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with outside parties and personnel across all levels of the firm
  • High attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and responsiveness
  • Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities and work under strict deadlines

  • Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through skills
  • Ability to decipher complex legal documents and credit agreements
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Compensation:

Expected Annual Base Salary $

Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role function level experience qualifications and geographic addition to a competitive base salary this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact team and firm performance.
