Our client an established commercial real estate owner and operator is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician to oversee the maintenance of a portfolio of industrial and commercial buildings throughout the greater Seattle area. Youll play a key role in maintaining safe attractive and efficient properties while partnering with tenants vendors and property management to deliver exceptional service.
Senior Facilities Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance troubleshooting and repairs across a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties.
- Diagnose and repair building systems including HVAC electrical plumbing roofing carpentry and general building components.
- Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors to ensure quality work and timely completion.
- Conduct roof inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain exterior lighting signage parking areas landscaping and irrigation systems.
- Prepare suites for new tenants complete move-in/move-out inspections and support tenant improvements.
- Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Monitor life safety systems including fire sprinkler inspections and maintenance.
- Help maintain the overall appearance safety and operational efficiency of each property.
Senior Facilities Technician Qualifications:
- 5 years of facilities building maintenance property maintenance or commercial construction experience.
- Industrial or commercial building maintenance experience is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing roofing carpentry and other building systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Washington State drivers license.
- Trade school education technical certifications or related training are a plus.
