Pay Range:
$87600.00 - $144000.00Position Summary:
TheSeniorFacilities Project Manageris responsible forleading and executing constructionremodel and linetransferprojects across Bio-TechnesMinnesota headquarters andassistwithother UScampuses. This role ensures projects are completed on time within budgetand resources and in alignment with organizational goals. The position collaborates with internal stakeholders and external contractors to support space planning capital projects and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of construction renovation and relocation projects to ensuretimely on-budget delivery.
Manage all aspects of project execution including scheduling budgeting resource allocation risk mitigation and stakeholder communication.
Coordinate product line transfers and space planning efforts.
Collaborate with internal teams to define space requirements and support capital planning throughrequests for quotation(RFQs)and proposal development.
Serve as the primary liaison with external architects&generalcontractors andotherservice providersas needed.
Support cross-functional teams with capital projectsforSafety andsustainability initiatives.
Assistin developing and managingCapExbudgets including bid retrieval cost analysis and forecasting.
Leadstructural andHVAC-related projects including installation upgrades retrofits and system optimization.
Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements for energy efficiency reliability and cost savings.
Monitor and report on project performance timelines and expenditures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Establish andmaintainstrong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
Send out communication to stakeholders of any disruption to resourcesin a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with safety standards building codes and company policies throughout project execution.
Identifyand implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.
Adhereto safety protocols building codes and company policies during all phases of project execution.
Provide input and support for long-term facilities planning and strategic initiatives as needed.
Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements including OSHA local codes and environmental standards.
Maintain proper documentation permits and inspection records.
Perform other duties as assigned within the Department.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree ina relatedEngineering(MechanicalIndustrialConstruction FacilitiesBiomedicalor Sciences)field or equivalent certification/experience.
3-5years of relevant experience managing projects of increasing complexityin Facilities Managementof anindustrialfacilitythat includesHVAC systemsdesign installation and maintenance.
Project Management Certification preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read architectural plans and blueprints.
Strong communicationand hands-on project leadership skills.
Ability to build relationships and influence department leadership.
Professional interaction across organizational levels with proactiveissueescalation.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Proficiencyin MS Office Suite and project management systems.
Excellent documentation communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
Understandingprinciples and concepts relevant to managing multiple projects.
Valid drivers licenseisfor travel
Ability to work in a team environment and lead meetings.
Working Conditions:
Walkingaroundconstruction sites and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when.
Work in varied environments including indoor office settings mechanical rooms and outdoor construction areas.
Exposure to weather conditions when inspecting exterior work or traveling between campuses.
Travel between Minnesota campuses for various projects up to 15% of the time.
Travel acrosstheNorthAmericacampusesas needed.
Ability to work hours that conform to standard business operations.
Require flexibility for early morning evening or weekend work depending on project timelines or contractor schedules.
