As a Senior Events Specialistyoullpartner with a collaborative marketing team to plan and deliver a portfolio of firm-hosted events conferences sponsorships and strategic marketing initiatives. Working alongside the events teamyoullhelp create exceptional experiences that strengthen our brand support business development and deliver value to our clients and communities.
This is a full-time hybrid position (M-F 8am-5pm with some evening and weekend work to be expected) that may be based out of one of our following locations:
- Portland ME
- Bangor ME
- Manchester NH
- Waltham MA
- Hamden CT
There will be occasional travel (10%) for select events each year to be mutually agreed upon.
- Support the full lifecycle of strategy planning and executionof third-party conferences andtrade showsas well asBerryDunn-hosted events.
- Developprojectbriefs timelinesbudgetsandcommunication planstoalign across the firm and support successful event execution.
- Coordinatesponsorshipandexhibitor participation includingbooth contractsregistrationsmarketingdeliverables attendees and communications.
- Source and manageevent-related goods and services including venue catering A/V etc.
- Measure event outcomesfacilitatepost-event debriefs and share insights and recommendations to inform future planning.
- Maintainaccurateevent- and sponsorship-related information across project management marketing and CRM systems;assistwith analysis to support decision-making.
- Coordinate and provide onsite support for firmhosted eventsand select conferences.
- Serve aspointof contact for industry association memberships andidentifyopportunities forleveragingmarketing and event benefits.
- Partner with marketing colleagues business development professionals and subject matter experts to deliver coordinated event experiences aligned with firm priorities.
- Assistwith other marketing projects as needed.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Communications Hospitality orrelatedfield.
- 5-7years of experience with events planning and execution.
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
- Ability toanticipateissues and proactively solve problems.
- Strong communicationand project management skills.
- Strong MS Office365skills including Word PowerPoint Excel and Copilot.
- A collaborative service-orientedapproachand the ability to build strong relationships across teams and with external partners.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage many moving pieces whilemaintainingaccuracy.
- Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbal.
- Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and navigating shifting priorities.
- Experienceusing CRM marketing automation virtual event and project management platforms to support event planning and execution and successfulcollaboration.
- Experience with budget tracking or financial stewardship.
- Some lifting (up to 50 lbs.) likely.
The base salary range targeted for this role is $72000 - $80000. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on factors such as company and personal performance. This salary range represents BerryDunns good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience education or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to years of experience depth of experience seniority merit education training amount of travel and other relevant business considerations.
