The Senior Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician / Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for advanced maintenance troubleshooting calibration and reliability improvement activities on cleanroom manufacturing equipment. This senior-level role serves as a technical resource for maintenance teams ensuring equipment uptime compliance with cGMP standards and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive industrial maintenance experience and the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive predictive and corrective maintenance on cleanroom manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical electrical pneumatic and control system issues.
- Execute calibration and instrumentation activities for temperature pressure flow humidity and related systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Support PLC and VFD diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Assist with equipment installations upgrades modifications and commissioning activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records work orders and parts usage in CMMS (Maximo).
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety cGMP SOP and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and support Maintenance Technician I and II team members.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing 5S and Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives.
- Maintain a clean organized and audit-ready work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree technical certification or trade school training preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with instrumentation and calibration systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead complex troubleshooting efforts.
- Work performed in cleanroom and industrial manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to electrical systems chemicals high-pressure equipment noise and mechanical hazards.
- Frequent standing bending climbing reaching and crawling.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 150 lbs.
- Experience supporting cleanroom manufacturing equipment.
- Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting expertise.
- Familiarity with PLCs VFDs and industrial control systems.
- Experience with HVAC vacuum and DI water systems.
- Previous experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
