Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist

Duda Farm Fresh Foods Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of A. Duda & Sons Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support our operations in Oxnard California.This position reports directly to the Safety Manager.

Founded in 1926 as a humble celery farm DUDA has grown into a diversified family-owned company with operations spanning agriculture fresh produce real estate development and ranch management. Today Duda Farm Fresh Foods is one of the worlds leading producers and suppliers of celery fresh-cut vegetables and citrus products. • Support implementation and maintenance of EHS policies programs and procedures.
• Conduct workplace inspections audits and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents injuries and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and recordkeeping requirements.
• Deliver safety training and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Monitor safety metrics and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to promote a culture of safety and accountability.
• Support workers compensation and return-to-work processes as needed.
• Assist with environmental compliance programs and reporting activities.

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety Environmental Science Industrial Hygiene or a related field preferred.
• 3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing agriculture food production or a related environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA Cal/OSHA environmental regulations and safety best practices.
• Strong investigation problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Professional certifications (ASP CSP CHMM or similar) are a plus.

Expected Hiring Range: $78000 - $85000 annually depending on qualifications and experience.
Starting Salary: $78000 annually.
