Senior Engineering Project Manager (Web Portal Platforms), G&A Solutions Engineering (GSE)

The Portal Platforms Group at Apple builds and operates large-scale internal web platforms serving hundreds of thousands of users worldwide. We work at the intersection of technology content and operations delivering robust digital experiences built on Drupal and other open-source technologies. We are looking for a Senior Engineering Project Manager to help coordinate our most complex high-impact web portal 0026A Solutions Engineering (GSE) is ISu0026Ts dedicated technology partner for Apples general and administrative functions including people finance facilities legal and security. The team builds and delivers integrated technology solutions that keep these functions running efficiently and securely at global scale. GSE also works closely with business teams to develop custom tools that improve productivity and bring greater automation and consistency to Gu0026A operations across Apple.

As a Senior Engineering Project Manager for Web Portal Platforms you will manage end-to-end program delivery across a rich ecosystem of partners including engineers creatives content owners legal and compliance teams. You will be responsible for keeping broadly distributed teams aligned and moving: surfacing blockers early driving coordination and balancing delivery velocity with long-term platform quality. This role demands deep familiarity with CMS-driven platforms content operations at scale and the communication fluency to translate between technical and non-technical audiences alike.

Drive end-to-end project delivery for large-scale internal web platform initiatives from scoping and planning through launch and iterationnnNavigate complex stakeholder networks spanning engineering creative content legal and compliance to align priorities and sustain forward momentumnnProactively surface blockers manage dependencies and coordinate resolution across distributed cross-functional teamsnnBalance delivery velocity with platform quality establishing clear milestones and accountability across concurrent work streamsnnChampion operational best practices for content management at scale including internationalization (i18n) and accessibility (a11y)nnCommunicate clearly across synchronous and asynchronous channels adapting your approach to diverse technical and non-technical audiences

10 years of experience as an Engineering Project Manager or Technical Program Manager on complex multi-stakeholder initiativesnnExperience with web platforms and CMS-based technologies in large-scale production environmentsnnDemonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under competing priorities and real-world constraintsnnStrong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of aligning diverse partner groups around shared goalsnnBS Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience

Hands-on familiarity with Drupal CMS and its ecosystem modules content architecture and platform configurationnnExperience with content operations at scale including i18n workflows and a11y compliance processesnnProficiency with Apple internal project management tools and engineering practicesnnPrior experience managing internal platforms with enterprise-scale user basesnnFamiliarity with open-source web technology stacks and modern content delivery patternsnnExperience partnering with compliance legal or brand governance stakeholders in a content platform context
