Senior Engineering Program Manager, On-Device ML

The On-DevicenMachine Learning (ODML) team in Graphics Games and Machine Learning (GGML) Softwarenis seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive high-performance ML frameworks and OSnfeatures that make it easier for developers inside and outside Apple to adopt and acceleratenmachine learning across our products and On-Device Machine Learning team at Apple is responsible for enabling the Research tonProduction lifecycle of cutting edge machine learning models that power magical usernexperiences on Apples hardware and software platforms. We support ML engineers andnscientists through technologies that combine the latest in ML innovation and deep integrationnwith Apple silicon and infrastructure unlocking the creation of customer experiences thatnsurprise and delight!

Were looking for a strong Engineering Program Manager with a proven record of building andnmaintaining complex software platforms tools and processes that deliver new end-to-endnexperiences on-device. You will partner with teams across Apple and deliver some of the mostnambitious capabilities for executing machine-learned features on Apple you are the type of person that feels a personal stake in everything that you work on have anstrong sense of ownership thrive in fast-paced environments with lots of ambiguity enjoynworking with complex technologies know how to foster strong relationships build trust andnwork for the success for the entire team then you will be a strong match for our team. 6 years in a role leading cross-functional teams in product/project/program (EE/CS/CE) or a related technical track record of delivering large-scale engineering products or platforms involving machine learning data processing and data analytics tools at Internet scale including experience with ML training (e.g. train/test evaluation measurement) data processing pipelines large-scale and high-throughput backend services and/or user-facing applications that use those services and deliver measurable business or product to engage with business partners translate needs into technical roadmaps and deliver and effectively communicate and partner with executive about delivering the best user experience to internal users by actively surveying user needs and translating requirements into a feature to use data and metrics to back up assumptions make recommendations and drive -motivated independent and proactive; demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities; can quickly (real-time) triage prioritize and lead cross-functional teams under and clear communication and presentation skills written and verbal.

Prior program management or engineering experience in Machine Learning training or inference using objectives and key results to drive product building technical communities across organizational boundaries.
