Senior Engineering Manager Service Management

As a Senior Engineering Manager on theService Management teamyou willbe responsible forinsuring operational stability of assigned applications. Areas of focus: application stability major incident restoration incident and problem management SOX and PCI compliance holiday readiness and disaster recovery. This role will work closely with the product and delivery teams to transition new or updated applications into production.

This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days at our Best Buy office in Richfield Minnesota and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Whatyoulldo

Ensure application stability specific to assigned Logistics and Supply Chain systems
Manage major incident resolution and reduction specific to Logistics and Supply Chain systems
Manage prioritization and resolution of Incident and Problem tickets for Logistics and Supply Chain systems
Proactively drive and implement service improvements innovations and efficiencies within the scope of capabilities
Share operations metrics/reports/data to key stakeholders and leadership holding regular reviews with stakeholder group to assess the quality of services delivered

Basic qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience with aBachelorsdegree OR equivalent relevant professional experience

• 1 yearof experiencemanaging or leadingtechnicalengineering teams

• 3 or more years of experience in IT Support Operations

• 3or more years ofexperiencewith cloud technologies (GCP AWS or Azure)

• Experience with onshore/offshore 3rd party vendor support

• Experience in 24x7 Operations role

Preferredqualifications

• 7 years of relevant professional experience

• Project management experience

• Experience evaluating and adopting diverseAI technologiesto scale operations and enhance service delivery within a 24x7 environment
