5 years of experience as a full-stack software/product engineer with 2 or 5 years as an EM
2 or 5 years of people management including building and maintaining happy high-performing teams of 5-10 engineers during periods of rapid scale
Experience at a high-growth startup (B2C B2B2C EdTech or HealthTech)
Strong full-stack fundamentals and actively contributes code vs just architecting (must be able to assess candidates technically when interviewing and hiring)
Improved engineering systems (e.g. CI/CD developer experience velocity)
Strong communication skills (gravitas engagement and ability to lead a team) balanced with structured strategic and hypothesis-driven thinking
Partnered with Product & Design through the full discovery planning and execution lifecycle (connects engineering work to business goals and customer impact)
A genuine love for developing others and seeing engineers grow in their careers
