Senior Engineering Manager, AI Team

This is a fully remote role within the United States.

As a Senior Manager of the AI Team you will be responsible for the overall direction quality and impact of a high-performing engineering team building AI applications and integrations that are a cornerstone of the platform. You will work closely with Product Design and Engineering to help shape how AI is used across the company.

This is a hands-on leadership role roughly 60% people leadership and 40% technical contribution.

• Manage and coach a team of talented engineers providing regular feedback and career development discussions.

• Structure and sequence work accurately communicating status and quality metrics for all deliverables.

• Serve as a counterpart to Product translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and engineering plans.

• Build and sustain a high-performing inclusive culture on the team.

• Contribute directly to the design and implementation of production systems.

• Own architectural decisions involving API design integrations and infrastructure.

• Lead the teams operational readiness including observability evaluation of AI systems and overall testing.

• Keep our AI applications efficient and cost-effective as we scale.

• 6 years of production experience in Python 2 years of managing a team.

• Hands-on experience with modern AI/ML tools and frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience shipping a complex system with significant customer impact.

• Ability to work effectively across functions and levels.
