Project Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join its IT Platform team. This role is responsible for designing implementing maintaining and optimizing the organizations IT infrastructure to support business operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise leadership capabilities and a passion for driving technology improvements in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that support business and operational requirements.
• Monitor maintain and optimize IT platforms to ensure high performance reliability and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Research emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for IT systems processes and procedures.
• Conduct infrastructure audits and assessments to identify improvement opportunities and implement necessary enhancements.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers providing technical guidance and support.
• Partner with business and technology teams to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify potential risks within the IT environment and implement mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT policies standards and procedures to support compliance and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development infrastructure management or platform engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java Python or C.
• Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong leadership and project management skills with experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
