Job SummarySTAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior End User Computing Engineer on behalf of our client in Chicago IL or Dallas TX. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Jamf Pro and lead the design deployment and lifecycle management of enterprise macOS environments. This role will play a key part in a large-scale MacBook deployment initiative with a strong focus on automation endpoint management security integrations and improving end-user experience.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise macOS environments Jamf technologies scripting and endpoint security while collaborating across IT Security and Business teams to support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities-
Serve as the primary SME for Jamf Pro including architecture deployment administration and lifecycle management.

Lead enterprise MacBook deployment initiatives and support modernization efforts for end-user computing environments.

Configure administer and support Jamf ecosystem tools including:

Jamf Pro

Jamf Connect
-
Jamf Protect
-
Jamf Infrastructure Manager

Jamf ADCS Connect
-

Manage integrations with SSO LDAP Cloud Identity Providers SMTP and Microsoft Entra (Azure AD).

Package deploy troubleshoot and maintain macOS applications through Jamf Pro.

Build and maintain Bash scripts Jamf API integrations and automation workflows for endpoint management.

Generate and maintain endpoint performance reporting including device health software compliance patching and utilization insights.

Provide advanced troubleshooting and Tier 3 support for Jamf-related issues.

Partner with Help Desk teams to develop self-service automation and user support enhancements.

Ensure endpoint security software updates and vulnerability remediation across macOS environments.

Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams procedures configurations and security workflows.

Collaborate with IT Security and business stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate technical updates.

Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing and cross-training initiatives.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

5 years of experience in desktop engineering endpoint management or end-user computing environments.

3 years of hands-on experience with Jamf Pro in an enterprise environment.

3 years of experience managing macOS endpoints using Jamf Pro.

3 years of experience with Bash scripting and Jamf API integrations.
