BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSEE is a plus.
7 years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
Validation of analog digital and mixed-signal circuits.
Signal integrity power integrity and timing analysis.
Experience in audio testing.
Verification of digital interfaces: SPI I2C UART CAN USB (at least one).
Load regulation line regulation efficiency and ripple/noise measurements.
Root cause analysis and failure diagnostics.
Board bring-up and prototype validation.
Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Background checks are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Firmware-hardware integration validation.
Debugging using JTAG SWD and serial interfaces.
Fault condition testing: over-voltage over-current thermal shutdown.
Automated power sequencing and transient response analysis.
Battery testing and characterization.
Wireless charging testing and validation.
Python: Test automation data parsing visualization and report generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position works in a lab environment on new innovative products for the consumer electronics space.
You will work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
Someone who loves to be hands-on with an analytical and inquisitive mind would work well in this position.
This role will require regular time on-site and is not open to fully remote work.
Develop and execute test plans for hardware verification and validation of new prototypes in the AR/VR space
Present testing results to cross functional teams and provide design feedback for future design iterations.

The salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location. Base Salary: $104000.00 - $175000.00. Andrews Cooper is an equal-opportunity employer.
