BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSEE is a plus.
- 7 years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Validation of analog digital and mixed-signal circuits.
- Signal integrity power integrity and timing analysis.
- Experience in audio testing.
- Verification of digital interfaces: SPI I2C UART CAN USB (at least one).
- Load regulation line regulation efficiency and ripple/noise measurements.
- Root cause analysis and failure diagnostics.
- Board bring-up and prototype validation.
- Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
- Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Firmware-hardware integration validation.
- Debugging using JTAG SWD and serial interfaces.
- Fault condition testing: over-voltage over-current thermal shutdown.
- Automated power sequencing and transient response analysis.
- Battery testing and characterization.
- Wireless charging testing and validation.
- Python: Test automation data parsing visualization and report generation.
- This position works in a lab environment on new innovative products for the consumer electronics space.
- You will work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
- Someone who loves to be hands-on with an analytical and inquisitive mind would work well in this position.
- This role will require regular time on-site and is not open to fully remote work.
- Develop and execute test plans for hardware verification and validation of new prototypes in the AR/VR space
- Present testing results to cross functional teams and provide design feedback for future design iterations.
