Position Overview

As a Mission Critical Electrical Estimator you will play a key role in the pursuit and execution of complex electrical construction projects including:

• Hyperscale Data Centers
• Mission Critical Facilities
• Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities
• Distribution Centers
• Large Commercial Projects

Youll work closely with operations preconstruction project management vendors subcontractors and executive leadership to develop accurate competitive and strategic estimates that drive project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings specifications and project documents
• Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates
• Develop budgets proposals bid packages and scope reviews
• Analyze labor material equipment and subcontractor pricing
• Coordinate with vendors suppliers engineers and operations teams
• Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts
• Assist with project turnover and support awarded projects
• Identify risks opportunities and cost-saving strategies
• Maintain strong relationships with clients subcontractors and industry partners
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• 4 years of electrical estimating experience
• Experience in:
  • Mission Critical / Data Centers
  • Industrial Construction
  • Large Commercial Construction
  • Design-Build Projects
  • Fast-Track Construction Environments

Technical Skills

• Accubid Anywhere or similar estimating software
• Bluebeam
• Microsoft Excel
• Blueprint and specification interpretation
• Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems

Professional Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• High attention to detail and organization
• Strategic and analytical thinking
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post-secondary education or industry certifications preferred
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
