Senior Electrical Engineer

H2M architects engineers a multidiscipline architectural engineering environmental consulting firm in the NY Metropolitan Area seeks a licensed Senior Project Electrical Engineer to join our Melville NY ResponsibilitiesDesign of electrical systems such as power distribution stand-by power generation lighting communication fire alarm and security a group of Electrical Engineers in project design and development tasks including drawings calculations cost estimates and specifications respond to client questions and comments review contractor submittals and provide clarifications during electrical department design documents for completion and ensure department personnel adhere to accepted industry and company in the development of company quality standards and closely with management and electrical department leadership to develop and implement electrical short- and long-range manpower and production plans to meet project in business development initiatives to pursue new projects including participation in client other duties as and QualificationsEducation (Minimum required): BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited (Minimum required): 7years of experience with a consulting engineering firm designing building power lighting communication and security systems.A thorough understanding and knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry including the Federal State and local laws and regulations that pertain to the Professional oral and written communication using Outlook and Microsoft Office (or similar software).LEED Accreditation and working knowledge of AutoCAD Revit and Easy Power to mentor junior level with HVAC and plumbing systems a salary range for this role is $110000 - $150000 employment offer may deviate from this publishedrange based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience specialty knowledge education geography and/or related certifications not related to any applicants characteristics protected by local state or federal law.
