An advanced defense technology organization is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design develop test and integrate electronic systems for autonomous platforms.
This role focuses on developing the electrical backbone of complex aerospace and autonomous systems taking designs from concept through prototyping validation and field deployment.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong experience in electrical hardware design PCB development embedded systems and hardware testing who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Design and develop electrical systems from concept through production.
- Create and review:
- Schematics
- PCB layouts
- Electrical documentation
- Bill of Materials (BOMs)
- Test procedures
- Support hardware architecture decisions and system-level electrical integration.
- Support hardware bring-up validation and troubleshooting.
- Perform:
- Signal integrity testing
- Power system validation
- Hardware debugging
- Use laboratory equipment including:
- Oscilloscopes
- Logic analyzers
- Electrical testing equipment
- Build solder assemble and troubleshoot prototype hardware.
- Design and support:
- Battery management systems
- Voltage regulation systems
- Power distribution systems
- Collaborate with mechanical firmware and systems teams to ensure successful integration.
- Support field testing and continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in:
- Design reviews
- Trade studies
- Testing campaigns
- Reliability improvements
- Develop technical documentation and support manufacturing processes.
- Bachelors degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Related engineering discipline
- 2 years of hands-on experience designing and testing electronic hardware.
- Experience with:
- PCB design tools (Altium preferred)
- Analog and digital circuit design
- Power integrity and grounding principles
- Embedded hardware systems
- Familiarity with embedded communications:
- CAN
- SPI
- I²C
- UART
- Experience using electrical lab equipment.
- Ability to work in a hands-on fast-paced engineering environment.
- Experience in:
- Aerospace

- Knowledge of:
- MIL-STD-461
- MIL-STD-810
- Ruggedized hardware design
- Experience with:
- Motor drives

- Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements.
