Senior Electrical Engineer Bloomington MN (Hybrid)

Job Summary: The Senior Electrical Engineer will work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects in the higher education government mission critical and healthcare markets. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our firm.

Responsibilities: Design electrical systems including lighting power fire alarm telecom and security.

• Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
• Develop electrical system design calculations.
• Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT.
• Perform QA/QC design work.
• Lead a project team and manage projects.
• Coordinate with Owners and Architects.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines.
• Complete code compliance research.
• Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Assist in the procurement of new work including the development of client relations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• You have a minimum of 8 years design experience as registered engineer. (required)
• You have a bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• You possess a Professional Engineer license PE (required).
• You have experience with complex institutional projects.
• You have LEED experience certification is desired.
• You are familiar with codes standards and design guidelines.
• Excellent work ethic and attitude.
• Interpersonal communication skills combined with organizational skills the ability to plan balance and prioritize work.

• Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team.
• Proficient in Revit and MS Office.

Location: Bloomington MN (Hybrid)

Travel: 10%

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this role is $90000 - $120000USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills experience qualifications and location.
